Still buzzing from Mother’s Day at Dodger Stadium

As big Dodgers fans, we’re still buzzing from last Sunday.

On Mother’s Day, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Nuna hosted 4th Trimester at Dodger Stadium for a special pregame recognition honoring our work and the families we serve.

Kristin McCowan, Vice President of Community Relations and Government Affairs for the Los Angeles Dodgers shared:

“We recognize how vital it is for mothers to feel seen and supported during a journey that, while often beautiful, can feel deeply challenging. Through partnering on the Care Closet and committing additional funds in support of 4th Trimester’s work, we’re helping ensure local mothers continue to receive the care they need.”

Earlier that week, at our May Care Closet, the wives and girlfriends of Dodgers players and staff joined our team to support expecting and postpartum mothers by distributing essential supplies and creating moments of care.

At the game, the Dodgers also hosted over 40 of our program participants and their families, including Kathy Perez, who lost her home in the Eaton Fire in January 2025, just as she learned she was pregnant. Through 4th Trimester’s Wildfire Relief Program, which has supported more than 250 families and distributed nearly $200,000 in emergency cash assistance, Kathy and her family received critical support during a time of uncertainty.

Standing alongside families like Kathy’s reminds us why this work matters so much. We are building a future where no mother has to navigate postpartum alone, and partnerships like this help us extend that vision to more families.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Dodgers and Nuna for helping highlight the importance of postpartum care and for celebrating the mothers and families in our community.

It was a beautiful way to spend Mother’s Day and keep baseball season going strong.

Go Dodgers!
